• Oversee paid media campaigns on global and APAC-specific performance platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Apple Search Ads, LINE, Naver, Kakao, Yahoo Japan, Rakuten, and other relevant regional paid media platforms.
• Enhance campaigns in alignment with business objectives such as acquiring new customers, generating revenue, maximizing ROAS, managing CAC, optimizing LTV, improving contribution margin, boosting conversion rates, and reducing payback periods.
• Formulate budget allocation strategies across different markets, channels, campaigns, audiences, and stages of the funnel based on performance analysis, incrementality, and growth prospects.
• Spearhead performance creative testing across various platforms including paid social, search, display, app, and regional media.
• Collaborate with creative teams to create, test, and refine performance assets, such as static ads, short-form videos, UGC-style content, localized messaging, promotional materials, landing page concepts, and app install assets.
• Construct and oversee structured testing roadmaps for audiences, bidding strategies, campaign architectures, creative ideas, offers, landing pages, and optimization tactics specific to each platform.
• Evaluate campaign performance by market, channel, audience, creative, product category, device, and customer segment to discover scaling and efficiency opportunities.
• Direct measurement initiatives encompassing attribution, incrementality, media mix insights, geo testing, holdout testing, lift studies, cohort analysis, and LTV-driven optimization.
• Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to enhance performance reporting, attribution accuracy, incrementality assessment, and decision-making frameworks.
• Assess platform-reported performance against internal metrics, incrementality, and overall business outcomes.
• Cultivate relationships with media platforms, regional paid media partners, and performance agencies to enhance campaign effectiveness and gain access to beta opportunities.
• Track performance trends, auction dynamics, competitive intensity, shifts in CPM/CPC/CVR, and platform alterations across APAC markets.
• Present performance outcomes, insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, paid media, or digital acquisition, ideally within eCommerce, marketplace, retail, consumer technology, subscription services, beauty, health and wellness, or mobile app sectors.
• Practical experience managing paid media campaigns across various APAC markets.
• Extensive platform knowledge across key global paid media channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Apple Search Ads.
• Familiarity with APAC-specific performance platforms such as LINE, Naver, Kakao, Yahoo Japan, Rakuten, or other comparable regional paid media channels.
• Strong comprehension of paid search, paid social, app acquisition, display, retargeting, shopping campaigns, feed-based advertising, and marketplace media.
• Proven track record in managing and optimizing significant paid media budgets across diverse markets and channels.
• Robust analytical skills with experience measuring CAC, ROAS, LTV, payback period, conversion rate, retention, contribution margin, and cohort performance.
• Knowledge of incrementality measurement, including geo tests, conversion lift studies, holdout tests, matched market tests, or media mix modeling inputs.
• Strong understanding of attribution limitations, biases in platform reporting, privacy alterations, signal loss, and measurement trade-offs.
• Experience in developing creative testing frameworks and converting performance data into actionable creative insights.
• Ability to evaluate creative performance based on hook, message, offer, format, audience, localization, and stage in the funnel.
• In-depth expertise in paid media platforms, regional APAC media landscapes, creative testing, campaign optimization, and incrementality-based measurement.
• Highly analytical, adept at managing large budgets, and experienced in tailoring performance strategies across varied APAC markets.
• Professional fluency or native-level proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Professional fluency or native-level proficiency in at least one major APAC language is highly preferred, such as Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, or another regionally relevant language.
