This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy for both organic and paid acquisition across all channels, including direct management of our paid acquisition agency—defining strategy, budget distribution, and performance targets.
• Enhance developer community engagement through platforms such as Reddit, Hacker News, developer-focused communities, technical content, GitHub presence, and DevRel-related programs.
• Take charge of the Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy: develop product qualification logic, design activation funnels, create self-serve to sales-led handoff processes, and establish expansion trigger strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize improvements for self-serve options and advocate for PLG during planning cycles.
• Shape the corporate narrative and translate it into channel strategies, content, and partnerships that target our strategic markets.
• Identify and create go-to-market initiatives for key strategic Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs): including developer tool integrations, community engagement, co-marketing opportunities, and technical content.
• Own the overarching KPIs across the complete funnel.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence to create and maintain PLG dashboards.
• Manage weekly and monthly reporting throughout the organization.
• Work alongside external agencies, our Marketing Operations team, and collaborate with Customer Success teams to facilitate the entire lifecycle of customers who begin their journey with us through our self-serve platform, while partnering with our engineering and product teams to build the case for product investment and engineering capacity.
• Background in companies focused on developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Your clientele should have a technical background.
• Experience in owning a PLG strategy: You have established a PLG approach and designed product qualification logic, activation funnels, and self-serve to sales-led transitions.
• Acquisition-driven mindset: When faced with stagnant signups, your immediate inquiry is “where is the traffic issue?” rather than “what email can we send out?”
• Product insight: You possess the ability to draft credible briefs, challenge deprioritized engineering tasks, and create a business case for product investment without a Product Manager.
• Familiarity with developer channels: You understand platforms like Reddit, Hacker News, developer communities, technical content, GitHub presence, and DevRel-related programs—not merely as awareness tools, but as effective acquisition channels.
• Proficient in data analysis: You directly manage metrics and are comfortable presenting signups, activation rates, and conversions alongside the strategies that drive them.
• Ability to influence without authority: You encourage cross-functional collaboration—engineering prioritization, agency management, partner alignment—through partnership and persuasion rather than relying on organizational hierarchy.
• Comprehensive healthcare for families, including dental and vision coverage.
• Competitive salary and 401K plan.
• Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grants for full-time employees.
• Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
• Flexible vacation policy.
• Maternity and paternity leave.
• MacBook Pro for work, along with a generous stipend to customize your workspace.
• Childcare bonus (for human children only).
• Support for fertility treatments.
• Learning and development program.
• Commuter benefits.
• A culture that promotes a healthy work-life balance.
