This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Lead and drive lifecycle marketing initiatives across the African Region by creating, developing, and implementing campaigns for all business assets, focusing on strategies that yield the highest ROI.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of user lifecycle metrics, including activation, retention, and reacquisition of churned users.
• Formulate marketing strategies designed to enhance the long-term value of clients through customer segmentation, personalization, automated user journeys, and optimal product and distribution channel combinations.
• Foster new user growth by designing product offerings.
• Outline the user journey and enhance user funnel conversion through effective product promotion, user education, and operational campaigns.
• Establish best marketing practices, including segmentation, A/B testing strategies, and email journeys, leveraging data-driven insights.
• Measure, analyze, and report on critical metrics within the organization.
• Envision the future steps for Africa's lifecycle, identifying challenges and opportunities while crafting innovative solutions and anticipating user needs.
• Collaborate with regional and central stakeholders to localize and implement global initiatives, ensuring relevance to cultural and local user contexts.
• Develop and manage the CRM and marketing workflows and automation roadmap, ensuring that user journeys are relevant, tactical, and impactful.
• Design and oversee end-to-end growth strategies for the entire African region, encompassing acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and reactivation across all core lifecycle pillars.
• Propel revenue growth and increase trading volumes through targeted lifecycle interventions, behavioral nudges, incentives, and product education initiatives.
• Utilize growth tools to formulate and execute behavioral gamification strategies that enhance user engagement and boost product adoption and/or trade volumes.
• At least 5 years of experience in lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in launching both large-scale and targeted campaigns throughout the user lifecycle.
• Proficient in CRM/lifecycle management and email marketing/automation.
• Experience with user segmentation, customer lifecycle management, and A/B testing.
• Strong analytical skills pertaining to user behavior analysis and developing user retention strategies within marketing funnels, with expertise in data mining, measurement, and analysis.
• Creative mindset for crafting innovative marketing strategies and engaging campaigns.
• Passionate about cryptocurrency.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, balancing quick wins with longer-term strategic initiatives.
