This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Execute targeted outreach to both current Chevron commercial card customers and potential customer opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership from Chevron company-owned and operated entities on market opportunities, station-level priorities, and outreach initiatives.
• Identify and assess opportunities associated with Chevron-operated locations, Retailer/Marketer sites, and strategic areas within the Chevron-branded network.
• Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs, educate them about the Chevron commercial card program, and direct qualified opportunities to the Sales team.
• Analyze fueling behavior, card usage, account activity, and location trends to pinpoint customer growth and Chevron fueling opportunities.
• Direct conversion, customer expansion, and service-related follow-ups to the appropriate Account Management or Account Development resources.
• Assist Relationship Management and Field Sales with customer targeting, dealer-network follow-ups, outreach, tracking, and reporting.
• Meet with customers via phone, virtually, or in person to comprehend their needs, communicate program value, promote effective card usage, and determine subsequent steps.
• Collaborate with Account Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Relationship Management, and other partners on campaigns and growth initiatives.
• Maintain detailed records of outreach, engagement, opportunities, handoff status, follow-up items, and campaign outcomes in Salesforce or designated systems.
• Offer insights and recommendations to the Account Development Manager and program leadership based on customer discussions, fueling trends, adoption challenges, station opportunities, and campaign results.
• Availability for occasional travel, approximately 35%-50% per year.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Salesforce (CRM), Google Suite, Gmail, Word, and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in account development, customer success, inside sales, business development support, customer engagement, account support, or related B2B customer-facing roles.
• Experience in conducting customer outreach, identifying client needs, communicating value, and facilitating growth opportunities.
• Proficient in utilizing Salesforce and other CRM tools, including reporting and AI-enabled tools to aid customer outreach, data analysis, account insights, documentation, and campaign execution.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for customer meetings, market visits, dealer/Retailer-Marketer engagement activities, Chevron company-owned location opportunities, or program events.
• Experience in inside sales, account development, business development, customer growth, or consultative customer engagement.
• Experience in supporting customer campaigns, new business development, retention programs, utilization improvement, or product adoption initiatives.
• Background in fleet, fuel card, payments, financial services, transportation, energy, retail fuel, or B2B customer development.
• General understanding of commercial fueling behavior, card usage, customer retention, portfolio growth, and network growth strategies.
• Commission eligibility for most sales positions under the terms of an applicable plan.
