Group Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Groups Sales Managers on hotel booking requests by researching destinations, pricing, and criteria to match clients with appropriate hotels that fit their budget, location, and requirements.

• Build and maintain positive, enduring relationships with Hotel Engine internal stakeholders and hotel partners.

• Source and book projects utilizing Hotel Engine’s internal database and Salesforce CRM.

• Manage a portfolio of group bookings during the sourcing and contracting phases, offering ideal options with minimal turnaround time.

• Provide support on projects and other tasks assisting Groups Sales Managers and the Groups Team.

• Offer support and innovative solutions as the Groups Team refines processes and scales for future growth.

• Strong sales, negotiation, and creative problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines.

• Experience in processing and executing contracts accurately.

• Innovative mindset with a knack for identifying creative process improvements.

• Ability to manage stress and maintain professionalism while juggling multiple requests and projects.

• Quick learner who is comfortable with ambiguity and an evolving departmental vision.

• Tenacious, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support the team.

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is required.

• Experience in the hotel industry and group reservations is preferred.

• Highly tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

• Proficiency in Office 365 Suite is required.

• Previous experience with Salesforce, Asana, and Slack is an advantage.
