
Group Risk Specialist β US ORM Change Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +3 more states.
β’ Conduct operational risk analysis, reporting, and provide support to business partners.
β’ Define requirements and offer guidance for U.S. Change Governance as well as New Business and Product Approval Programs.
β’ Implement governance oversight activities and ensure program compliance.
β’ Evaluate change data, risk assessments, reports, and system extracts to report on Change and Delivery Risk.
β’ Uphold policies, standards, methodologies, procedures, and related documentation.
β’ Record and disseminate meeting minutes within 24 hours.
β’ Develop executive-level presentations and assist with committee secretary duties.
β’ Carry out regulatory compliance management tasks.
β’ Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across all three lines of defense.
β’ Design and deliver training for Change Governance and NBPA Programs.
β’ Maintain audit trails and challenge inadequate compliance evidence.
β’ Discover opportunities to enhance and automate processes utilizing generative and agentic AI.
β’ Identify, evaluate, escalate, and mitigate operational risks.
β’ Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements, offering recommendations for action.
β’ Oversee deliverables, timelines, and provide proactive status updates.
β’ Lead risk analysis and coordinate the collection, aggregation, and validation of potential losses and risk factors.
β’ Support operational risk measurement, loss data analysis, risk reporting, escalation, and review processes.
β’ Represent the business or function in risk committees and working groups.
β’ Build relationships with business management and provide risk guidance, advice, and training.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent progressive work experience beyond the experience requirement.
β’ Over 7 years in risk management, internal audit, controls testing, compliance, or a related field within financial services.
β’ Demonstrated project management skills along with strong analytical capabilities.
β’ Experience in tactical planning and process management.
β’ Ability to interpret guidelines, standards, policies, analytical results, and regulatory guidance.
β’ Proficient in handling large datasets and conducting trend analysis, anomaly detection, and sampling.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and skill in identifying root causes.
β’ Strong analytical and organizational abilities; adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
β’ Sound judgment and confidence to constructively challenge existing processes.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Capability to establish and maintain cross-functional relationships.
β’ Knowledge of operational risk management, regulatory reporting, and change and delivery risk management practices.
β’ Ability to lead a team and influence senior stakeholders across business and risk functions.
β’ Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot and other generative and agentic AI tools.
β’ Proven ability to contribute to multidisciplinary committees and manage small to medium-sized projects.
β’ Ability to forge and maintain relationships with TDBFG.
β’ Capacity to influence decisions without direct authority.
β’ Proficient in analyzing information, identifying trends, drawing conclusions, presenting results, and recommending risk mitigations.
β’ Established leadership experience and a strong background in TD Bank operational risk management.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication, facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.
β’ Base salary range of $91,000 - $145,600 USD.
