This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Define and take ownership of the product vision and strategy for the Small Business product suite within Financial Services.
• Lead the modernization of the platform, focusing on migrating payments infrastructure, minimizing fraud exposure, enhancing reliability, and implementing customer trust initiatives.
• Take responsibility for the uptime, reliability, and observability commitments regarding payment surfaces.
• Collaborate with Fraud/Risk Operations, Compliance, and Security teams on onboarding, underwriting, and fraud mitigation strategies.
• Work alongside Accounting and Tax product leads to seamlessly integrate payments and financial services workflows into the comprehensive SMB experience.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and business partners across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Finance, Risk/Fraud Operations, Compliance, Security, and Marketing.
• Create business cases, evaluate financial impacts, define and implement OKRs, and utilize data to prioritize opportunities and showcase product value.
• Discover opportunities for AI to enhance productivity, fraud detection, risk decision-making, operational workflows, and customer experiences.
• Present the financial services strategy and plans, acting as a subject matter expert.
• Build and mentor a high-performing product team.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence through retrospectives, coaching, and process enhancements.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management.
• At least 5 years of experience in the fintech sector.
• A minimum of 2 years leading product teams at the Group level or higher.
• Extensive knowledge in financial services, particularly in areas such as payment acquiring, acceptance, payment facilitation, fraud and risk controls, as well as processor or platform partnerships.
• Comprehensive understanding of onboarding experiences for financial products, including KYC and KYB, along with risk and fraud mitigation strategies.
• Experience with payment processor or platform partnerships and large-scale migrations is highly advantageous.
• A proven history of leading product teams and driving new products from ideation through launch and scaling within a fintech context.
• Ability to operate effectively within compliance, regulatory, and audit frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI in enhancing productivity, fraud/risk decision-making, and customer experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in prioritizing and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Significant experience in people leadership, including managing Product Managers, developing talent, establishing priorities, and building high-performing teams.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data-related field, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience through a combination of education and relevant work experience.
