This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of acquired companies aligned with the strategic goals of Vesta Software.

• Assist portfolio companies in their commercial activities and growth initiatives.

• Mentor local managing directors on best practices and support them in achieving expertise in their fields.

• Lead and manage cross-functional, collaborative efforts in executing work streams alongside both local and global business leaders.

• Network, analyze, and identify potential target companies while preparing comprehensive project proposals in collaboration with business lines.

• Influence the development of the business portfolio by establishing a deal pipeline and aiding in the prioritization of M&A topics.

• Develop proposals for transaction terms and assist in negotiating deals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an academic mindset.

• MBA is a plus.

• Proficient in Hungarian and English, both orally and in writing.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience relevant to this role, ideally encompassing both transactions (M&A, integrations) and management roles.

• Greater emphasis on management experience.

• Self-motivated individual with a strong emphasis on autonomy.

• Clear and structured communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and influencing abilities.

• Background and familiarity with software and technology sectors.

• Proven track record, including leadership and management skills to effectively guide business development within an innovative organization.

• History of managing operational improvements, change initiatives, and turnarounds.

• Strong analytical skills combined with a well-organized, collaborative, and assertive approach.

• Project management expertise and the capability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.

• Maturity and extensive managerial experience paired with a natural entrepreneurial drive.

• In-depth knowledge and experience related to M&A, including negotiation, due diligence, financials, valuations, and market insights.
