This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee financial reporting for various dealerships, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and additional financial analyses.
• Execute monthly closing processes.
• Develop annual budgets.
• Administer accruals and deferrals.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Carry out floor plan reconciliations.
• Analyze and monitor balance sheet accounts, including prepaid expenses, inventory, liabilities, and fixed assets.
• Analyze and monitor income statement accounts, including revenue, costs, and expenses.
• Provide training to local office managers on accounting procedures.
• Analyze and reconcile balances with other dealerships within the organization.
• Create new processes, policies, and procedures to transition to a more professional accounting environment.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Quick learning ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public or industry accounting is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with GAAP.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a complex workload.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; travel is minimal but may be necessary.
• Capability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs utilizing assistive devices.
