This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take the lead for the client once the proposal has been accepted.
• Oversee and nurture business opportunities with current clients.
• Create client agendas and prepare slide presentations.
• Lead and/or assist in discussions with clients, LMR, faculty, and/or subject matter experts regarding content and direction.
• Review and send status/contact reports to clients following each interaction.
• Develop project briefs and scopes of work for both clients and internal team members.
• Provide guidance to the support team on all facets of project management to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
• Manage projects using approved internal project briefs, proposal templates, and budget tools.
• Collaborate with the internal team on the overall project plan, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Serve as the internal team leader, ensuring all team members collaborate effectively.
• Mentor staff at the Associate Account Executive, Account Executive, and/or Senior Account Executive levels.
• Conduct performance evaluations, develop plans for growth, and establish goals for direct reports as necessary.
• Partner with Client Services leadership and Strategy to pinpoint market opportunities that will advance client business.
• Identify avenues for organic growth within assigned accounts.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, and reconciliations.
• Monitor budgets, including direct costs, labor costs, fees, and out-of-pocket expenses, to ensure team members/direct reports are effectively managing the assigned budgeted labor hours and direct costs.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an Account role within a pharmaceutical or medical communications company.
• Daily client-facing experience and familiarity with medical, legal, and regulatory review processes is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% based on client requirements.
