• Manage and cultivate relationships with key accounts within the Grid Automation sector.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans for designated customers, encompassing account strategies and long-term growth initiatives.
• Identify and seek out new business prospects, including projects, modernization, digitalization, services, and systems.
• Represent GE Vernova as a reliable technology and business partner to our customers.
• Conduct reviews, analyses, and resolutions for assigned customer application inquiries, utilizing sound engineering principles while adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/deadline requirements.
• Offer technical support to both internal and external customers regarding the full spectrum of Grid Automation Products, with a focus on Software solutions (such as Protection remote engineering access, asset monitoring, digital Control Systems, network management, cybersecurity, etc.) through both telephone communication and face-to-face meetings.
• Support the Commercial/Sales team in ensuring optimal technical solutions, promoting products, delivering presentations, assisting during technical negotiations, and completing formal tenders for Grid Automation products/solutions in accordance with customer specifications.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars, and conferences as required.
• A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
• Advanced knowledge of Substation Protection and/or Substation Control System Applications within the Transmission & Distribution segment (prior experience with Orlen or Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne is a significant advantage).
• Experience with IEC 61850-based Substation Automation solutions is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity issues and software business (DCS/SCADA/Remote Access).
• Working familiarity with Substation Protection, Substation Automation, and RTUs, with the ability to assist customers in selecting and implementing the most suitable GE solutions for their applications.
• Experience with network protocols, HMI systems, and software packages is highly desirable.
• Capability to analyze specific applications and generate technical reports.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (40%).
• Proficiency in Polish and English (the role requires both written and verbal communication with customers).
