GRC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform continuous risk evaluations and keep an up-to-date risk register.

• Assist in conducting risk assessments related to critical business processes and systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to create and monitor risk mitigation strategies until resolution.

• Help establish risk metrics and reporting for visibility at the executive level.

• Oversee compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal controls.

• Facilitate audit preparedness by organizing evidence collection and documentation.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure effective audit results with no significant findings.

• Regularly review and update GRC-related policies.

• Support or lead training initiatives related to compliance and security.

• Create and circulate awareness materials on essential compliance subjects.

• Ensure accurate and secure documentation for audits, investigations, and post-incident analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3-5 years of experience in GRC, risk management, compliance, or audit-related positions.

• Knowledge of widely recognized compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and follow-through.

• Strong collaborative skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders, supported by effective consultative and relationship-building capabilities.

• Experience with GovRAMP, StateRAMP, or FedRAMP is a plus.

• Background in assisting audits or certification processes.

• Familiarity with risk management tools or GRC platforms.

• Basic knowledge of information security principles and controls.

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles with significant customer interaction.
