Graphic Designer, Video Editor – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create email campaigns and automated flows, including newsletters, welcome messages, abandoned cart notifications, post-purchase emails, and win-back communications.

• Design mobile-first email layouts featuring a clear hierarchy, easily scannable formats, and compelling calls to action.

• Prepare files and specifications suitable for Klaviyo and other email platforms.

• Develop landing pages, homepage sections, collection page components, product page modules, banners, and promotional materials for Shopify stores.

• Collaborate with the CRO team to craft test variations informed by data, heatmaps, and hypotheses.

• Deliver dev-ready Figma files that include desktop and mobile layouts, well-organized layers, and precise specifications.

• Create static social media and paid advertisement creatives for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and others.

• Generate variations and iterations for ads to facilitate creative testing.

• Edit videos for social media and advertising purposes, including resizing, trimming, adding captions, and implementing simple motion effects.

• Adhere to client brand guidelines and identify any gaps or inconsistencies.

• Implement best practices for accessibility, contrast, legibility, asset load-friendliness, and platform specifications.

• Present work with a clear rationale to internal teams and clients as required.

• Integrate feedback, execute revisions promptly, and manage tasks across multiple accounts and deadlines.

• Utilize Claude and other AI tools for concept development, copy-to-layout exploration, asset variations, and repetitive production tasks while adhering to confidentiality and AI usage guidelines.

• Understand and apply client brand guidelines and design systems.

• Deliver email, web, and social designs promptly with minimal revision cycles.

• Handoff web projects or CRO test variations to the Shopify development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce digital design (including email, website, social media, etc.).

• A portfolio showcasing e-commerce projects, ideally detailing goals and outcomes.

• Advanced skills in Figma.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Practical experience using Claude and/or other AI tools within a design workflow.

• Experience in web design and supporting website creatives, including landing pages, site sections, and product detail pages (PDPs).

• Strong understanding of conversion-focused design and e-commerce best practices.

• Proven capability to adhere to and apply brand guidelines across various brands.

• Excellent written and spoken English for asynchronous communication with a U.S.-based team.

• Video editing skills with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar software are significant advantages.

• Experience designing for Klaviyo or other email platforms is a notable asset.

• Familiarity with Shopify themes and the process of design implementation is a valuable differentiator.

• Experience creating A/B test variations or working with CRO data is a strong plus.

• Expertise in creating paid social ad content for Meta and TikTok is a significant advantage.

• Previous experience in an agency setting is preferred.
