This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop marketing materials aimed at current and potential donor audiences.
• Work collaboratively with the Development Marketing team, which includes writers, editors, production stakeholders, and event producers.
• Create email and web graphics, slide presentations, infographics, event materials, and print collateral.
• Generate materials and content for the annual fundraising gala, incorporating experiential design elements, marketing materials, videos, animations, and more.
• Assist the Design Manager in managing the photo library assets.
• Organize the digital photo library efficiently.
• Acquire photography and assets necessary for designed materials.
• Collaborate across departments to identify new asset opportunities.
• Integrate racial justice and equity into donor marketing materials.
• Ensure cultural competence and alignment with environmental justice priorities in all content.
• Engage in developmental opportunities and training as part of the Spring 2027 internship cohort.
• Optionally, create a Capstone design project from the creative brief, research, and mood board through design and iteration.
• Follow brand guidelines for a suite of sub-brands.
• Ensure that designed materials comply with accessibility standards.
• Take concepts from ideation to execution, encompassing research, stakeholder presentations, design, review, and iteration.
• Candidates must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Candidates must reside in the specified location.
• Coursework, work experience, or extracurricular involvement in Graphic Design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as demonstrated through a portfolio or work samples.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research abilities.
• Good judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Capability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated individual.
• Commitment to racial justice, equity, inclusion, environmental protection, and LCV's mission.
• Demonstrated awareness of how life experiences shape personal attitudes, biases, and assumptions.
• Proven commitment to ongoing learning and delivering culturally responsive services.
• Understanding of the intersections between environmental issues and racism, as well as economic and social inequality in the U.S.
• At least two examples of design work, or a portfolio link included in the resume or as a PDF uploaded with the application.
• Resume must include the month and year for the provided experience.
• Successful completion of background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks.
• Preferred: Experience with Dropbox and Figma.
