Graphic Design Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create graphics for social media platforms, websites, email marketing campaigns, and digital advertisements.

• Design presentations, brochures, flyers, and infographics.

• Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all visual materials.

• Enhance skills in photo editing, image retouching, and layout design.

• Work collaboratively with the team to transform concepts and briefs into captivating visuals.

• Act on feedback and make revisions swiftly and accurately.

• Maintain organization of design files and asset libraries.

• Introduce innovative ideas and stay updated with the latest design trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related discipline.

• A portfolio showcasing creativity along with a strong understanding of layout, typography, and color schemes.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma or Canva.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills with a professional communication style.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and work autonomously.

• Comfortable with remote work and proficient in using collaboration tools and platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar.

• Preferred: previous experience in freelance, volunteer, or academic projects with actual clients or organizations.

• Preferred: basic understanding of motion graphics or video editing with After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software.

• Preferred: interest in social media trends and digital marketing strategies.

• Preferred: experience working with US or UK-based companies or teams.
