Grants Payments Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of a forecasting model for areas outside of Medidata Payments, while also managing future updates and enhancements.

• Contribute to the forecasting process beyond Medidata Payments and integrate it with forecasts from Medidata Payments.

• Collect current site enrollment and patient enrollment information, including actual data and forecasts.

• Collaborate with teams including Revenue Recognition, Clinical Payments, Investigator Grants Payments, Project Analyst, Central Planning, and Clinical Operations.

• Create deliverables for Project Analysts and sponsor contracts that are ready for client presentation.

• Conduct plan versus actuals analysis and total budget needs forecasting.

• Alert Project Analysts and Global Project Leads regarding variances in over-forecasting and under-forecasting.

• Ensure adherence to audit requirements and assist with year-end and interim audits.

• Support the Clinical Operations process effectively.

• Keep abreast of local and global revenue regulations.

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting for clients.

• Complete final study closeout reconciliation and prepare client-ready reports.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Capability to influence and challenge when necessary.

• Comprehension of the payment process for sites.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Proficiency in Excel, databases, and accounting software.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in finance.

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a track record of competency for career advancement.
