Government Licensed Guides – German, French Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nepal.

📋 Description

• Lead small groups of 2–12 travelers on tours lasting 2–3 weeks throughout Nepal.

• Deliver clear information about various destinations while sharing insights into Nepalese culture.

• Craft joyful and memorable travel experiences, bridging linguistic and cultural divides.

• Plan and organize daily itineraries to ensure smooth tour operations while adapting contingency plans as needed.

• Engage in training sessions and participate in pre-tour briefings.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting travelers with inquiries.

• Prioritize the safety of travelers, ensuring that partners adhere to quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Respond efficiently to emergencies, following established procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in Nepal or have lived there for a minimum of one year.

• Proficient in advanced German (C1) or French (C1) for effective client communication.

• Possess good local language skills to support tour operations.

• Hold all necessary permissions to work as a tour conductor and/or guide.

• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Heimlich maneuver is required.

• A strong passion for and deep understanding of Nepal's culture, people, history, traditions, daily life, and current events.

• Must be organized, reliable, motivated, and solution-oriented, especially under pressure.

• Demonstrate cooperation and strong communication skills, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

• Strong English communication skills are beneficial.

• Additional local language skills are a plus.

• Previous experience in tourism or as a guide is an advantage.
