This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at securing government contracts across federal, state, and local levels.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with government agencies, contracting officers, and key decision-makers.
• Oversee the sales pipeline and accurately project government sales revenue.
• Spearhead proposal development efforts, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to customize offerings to meet the specific needs of government clients.
• Track government market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as needed.
• Pursue new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships within the government sector.
• At least 7 years of experience in government contracts sales or business development.
• Demonstrated success in obtaining government contracts and managing intricate sales cycles.
• In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, including RFPs, bids, and contracting regulations.
• Familiarity with government contracting platforms such as SAM.gov and GovWin.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently and lead initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
