This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Assist the U.S. Government Compliance team in the daily operations and continuous improvement of the Collins U.S. Government Compliance Program.
• Offer enterprise-wide support on compliance matters related to prime and subcontract agreements.
• Facilitate significant U.S. Government compliance initiatives throughout the organization.
• Conduct research and provide interpretations of U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations.
• Aid in the development, upkeep, and enhancement of compliance guidance, processes, procedures, and monitoring metrics.
• Collaborate across various internal teams to address regular compliance inquiries and promote compliance-related activities.
• Create and revise compliance reference documents, job aids, and playbook materials.
• Address internal questions regarding compliance with government contracts.
• Assist with special projects and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare fundamental compliance training and informational resources.
• Undertake limited domestic travel as necessary.
• Generally requires a University Degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Background in U.S. Government contracting or related regulatory environments is essential.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Familiarity with U.S. federal procurement laws and regulations, including FAR, DFARS, Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, Procurement Integrity Act, and Defense Priorities and Allocations System.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and organizational abilities.
• Strong skills in interpersonal relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in supporting the complete lifecycle of government contracts from inception to closure.
• Working knowledge of requirements under the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act.
• Understanding of commercial products and services contracting processes.
• Basic comprehension of cost/price principles or financial aspects within government contracting.
• Willingness to undertake limited domestic travel as required.
