Golang Development Engineer – Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Core Development: Engage in the design and creation of backend systems, leveraging Go to develop high-performance and high-concurrency microservices.

• System Optimization: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of business needs, evaluate system bottlenecks, and spearhead product performance enhancements and architectural improvements.

• Platform Engineering: Tackle intricate technical challenges and assist in the development and upkeep of shared components, middleware, and frameworks.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Frontend, QA, and Product teams to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions; prepare standardized design, technical, and API documentation.

• Operations & Monitoring: Oversee live system performance, diagnose root causes of issues, and deliver swift resolutions for production environment incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Graduates from 2026 or 2027. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications, or related disciplines.

• Technical Foundations: Strong understanding of Computer Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.) and Operating Systems concepts (Process/Thread, Memory Management, I/O mechanisms).

• Mastery of Data Structures and Algorithms with a dedication to producing clean, high-quality code.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Golang and its concurrency models (Goroutines, Channels, Context, etc.).

• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of common databases and storage middleware (e.g., MySQL, Redis).

• Soft Skills: Exceptional logical reasoning and a robust sense of Ownership; enthusiastic about technology and exploring new domains.

• Strong bilingual communication skills (English and Chinese) to effectively collaborate in a global team setting.

• Internship Requirements: Available for a minimum duration of 6 months, 5 days per week.
