📋 Description

• Ensure that Time & Attendance systems and processes are designed and implemented across all countries in accordance with statutory requirements, minimizing compliance risks and facilitating robust audit outcomes.

• Integrate compliance considerations into every phase of T&A project delivery, ensuring that all initiatives take into account country-specific labor laws, working time regulations, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and payroll compliance requirements from initial design to go-live.

• Serve as the primary compliance liaison for T&A-related initiatives, translating legislative requirements into effective system controls, coordinating responses to audits, and developing governance frameworks that ensure regulatory adherence while allowing for scalable delivery.

• Collaborate with T&A, Payroll Operations, Product, and Implementation teams to embed country-specific labor law requirements (working time regulations, overtime rules, rest periods, CBAs, statutory accruals) into system design and configuration.

• Ensure compliance reviews are integrated into project lifecycles, encompassing requirements gathering, configuration validation, testing, and go-live readiness.

• Champion the importance of embedding compliance from the beginning rather than addressing it post-implementation.

• Work alongside country compliance and legal experts to interpret statutory obligations (maximum working hours, mandatory breaks, overtime calculations, accrual logic, record retention, etc.).

• Convert legislative requirements into precise system configuration rules, technical specifications, and operational controls.

• Simplify complex legal terminology into actionable requirements that Product and Operations teams can consistently implement.

• Act as the primary compliance contact for all T&A-related initiatives, ensuring alignment between Compliance, Product, Payroll Operations, and Implementation teams.

• Establish governance checkpoints and review mechanisms that confirm regulatory alignment without hindering delivery.

• Define global standards while accommodating specific legal requirements of each country.

• Proactively identify compliance gaps or control weaknesses before they result in operational or regulatory exposure.

• Evaluate potential impacts in collaboration with subject matter experts.

• Recommend pragmatic corrective actions, prioritize remediation efforts, and escalate significant risks when necessary.

• Coordinate both internal and external audit requests concerning Time & Attendance systems and processes.

• Collaborate with country compliance experts and operational stakeholders to compile comprehensive, accurate, and defensible documentation.

• Ensure that audit evidence and control documentation are submitted in a timely manner.

• Monitor remediation actions stemming from audit findings until they are resolved.

• Develop and maintain T&A compliance documentation, including control narratives, process maps, risk registers, and change logs.

• Establish documentation standards that guarantee processes are transparent, traceable, and ready for audits across all operating countries.

• Ensure compliance impact assessments are integrated into system and process change management.
