📋 Description

• Formulate and implement DwyerOmega’s comprehensive global supplier quality strategy in line with the company's growth objectives and operational priorities.

• Create and standardize a supplier quality framework that encompasses qualification, onboarding, monitoring, development, escalation, and governance.

• Direct supplier development initiatives for strategic and high-risk suppliers, including formulating improvement roadmaps and recovery plans.

• Propel reductions in defects, escapes, field failures, and non-conformances through corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.

• Perform supplier capability assessments, maturity evaluations, audits, risk assessments, and capacity evaluations.

• Facilitate supplier improvement workshops utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving techniques.

• Execute APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability Studies, SPC, and Measurement System Analysis.

• Create and oversee supplier scorecards, segmentation models, business reviews, dashboards, risk heat maps, and digital supplier quality systems.

• Manage the global supplier audit program and leverage findings to inform supplier development, risk ratings, and sourcing strategies.

• Lead resolution of supplier issues through 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, Five Whys, and Statistical Analysis.

• Formulate containment protocols for significant supplier quality incidents.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Sourcing teams on supplier selection, design reviews, PPAP approvals, run-at-rate activities, process validation, pilot production, and readiness for NPI launches.

• Act as the global supplier quality subject matter expert, offering strategic direction and technical support.

• Assist with acquisition integration and supplier onboarding processes.

• Mentor and cultivate supplier quality talent across the organization.

• Monitor supplier PPM, on-time delivery, cost of poor quality, audit completion, corrective action closure, supplier risk, capacity readiness, maturity, and NPI launch performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, Manufacturing Quality, or Supply Chain Quality.

• Experience in supporting global supply chains across various regions.

• Practical experience with electronics, PCBAs, machined components, castings, plastic injection molded components, sensors, instrumentation products, and contract manufacturers.

• Proven success in enhancing supplier performance through structured development initiatives.

• Experience in implementing supplier quality systems at an enterprise level.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Preferred experience in supporting acquisitions and supplier integration activities.

• Preferred certifications: ASQ CQE, CSQP, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Lead Auditor Certification, or APICS Certification.

• Extensive expertise in supplier quality management, development, and performance systems.

• Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and Measurement System Analysis.

• Proficient in 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, and Five Whys methodologies.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 17025 standards.

• Capability to design and implement supplier scorecards, dashboards, and digital quality management solutions.

• Strong cross-functional influencing abilities across Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.

• Analytical skills to identify risks, prioritize actions, and demonstrate program impact.

• Excellent communication and leadership presence, including the ability to present supplier quality performance to senior leadership.

• A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for enhancing supplier capabilities.
