Global Sourcing Systems, Initiatives & Advanced Analytics Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and implement the global sourcing procedures, systems, and analytics strategy for GE Vernova.

• Establish and promote the future-state operating model for Source-to-Pay.

• Spearhead enterprise sourcing transformation initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring measurable business results.

• Perform sourcing maturity evaluations across Business Units and guide targeted improvement plans.

• Manage and advance the global sourcing systems landscape, which includes SupplierConnect, Sourcegate+, Grid Fusion VMR, Sourcing360, and ERP integrations.

• Oversee the integration of sourcing data into the enterprise data lake and define standard metrics, dashboards, and insights.

• Develop scalable analytics capabilities to enhance decision-making, identify savings, ensure compliance, and increase risk visibility.

• Direct the sourcing master data strategy.

• Define and implement the digital and GenAI strategy for sourcing.

• Collaborate with IT, finance, legal teams, and external vendors to modernize sourcing tools and workflows.

• Promote user adoption, manage change, and build capabilities.

• Benchmark external best practices and new technologies.

• Lead high-profile sourcing initiatives, including GenAI applications, risk management programs, commodity and category playbooks, should-costing and productivity initiatives, as well as Process Excellence and Lean agendas.

• Oversee CPO-level governance, including Sourcing Councils, leadership operating rhythms, and enterprise reviews.

• Prepare materials for executive-level presentations to ELT, Board, and senior leadership forums.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team responsible for sourcing transformation, systems, and analytics.

• Drive enterprise capability-building initiatives in digital, GenAI, sourcing fundamentals, and analytics fluency.

• Integrate Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement principles throughout sourcing teams.

• Encourage accountability, data-driven decision-making, and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.

• MBA or Master's degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain transformation, or management consulting.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, global, cross-functional transformation programs.

• Extensive knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, digital platforms, data architecture, and analytics.

• Demonstrated leadership in GenAI, digital enablement, automation, and advanced analytics.

• Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influencing skills.

• Experience working effectively in matrixed, global organizations.

• Strong familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, category management, cost modeling, and risk management is highly preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening may be required.
