This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main coordinator and owner of the international relocation process, including permanent relocations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees undergoing relocation.
• Oversee international assignments or permanent relocations in accordance with client policies.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners and advocate for the interests of relocating employees.
• Work with internal support functions to ensure a seamless relocation experience.
• Select and manage preferred global partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
• Communicate with HR contacts and relocation leadership regarding issues faced by employees and their families.
• Offer status updates, identify challenges, propose solutions, and complete client projects and reports.
• Understand employee needs while adhering to client policies, maintaining communication throughout the assignment lifecycle.
• Advise employees on compensation and tax benefits, including COLA, housing allowance, hypothetical tax, and tax policy.
• Manage expatriate compensation components and ensure timely updates on compensation schedules.
• Address unique customer concerns and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Comply with data access, handling, storage, privacy, and company policy regulations.
• Engage in client/prospect visits and presentations as required.
• Arrange temporary housing, car shipments, home finding, travel authorization, and expense management.
• Follow client policies and tax guidelines closely.
• Utilize Odyssey’s operations system daily for note-taking and file management.
• May assist with U.S. domestic relocations and work non-traditional hours to accommodate various time zones.
• A University Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Three years of direct relocation experience or five years of related customer service experience.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and web-hosted job-related systems.
• Skilled in documenting work and file activities within Odyssey’s operating system.
• Previous international or intercultural experience is beneficial.
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English is mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience in managing international relocation assignments.
• Understanding of global business and mobility operations.
• Familiarity with international cost estimates and their preparation.
• Proven customer service abilities.
• Capability to identify potential challenges and devise innovative solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, listening, consultative, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, business etiquette, and phone skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, work in a dynamic environment, and function effectively as part of a team while being a self-starter.
• Competence in dealing with ambiguity efficiently.
• PC proficiency with databases and Microsoft 365, including Calendar, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must reside within the Central or Eastern Time Zones.
