Global Product Manager – Cellulosic PFP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage the worldwide Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection portfolio, which includes overseeing product introduction and discontinuation.

• Create product roadmaps and positioning that balance performance, cost, application efficiency, and customer value.

• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to inform portfolio and commercial strategies.

• Lead pertinent product development and launch initiatives following Hempel’s established processes.

• Ensure that solutions are backed by comprehensive testing, approvals, and technical documentation.

• Formulate clear value propositions while integrating sustainability considerations into portfolio and product decisions.

• Collaborate with teams in technical, commercial, marketing, assortment, and sustainability areas.

• Influence portfolio direction, facilitate successful product launches, and enhance customer value on a global scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the chemical industry within an international context.

• Technical expertise paired with a solid understanding of business or commercial aspects.

• A robust chemical background or relevant experience in product management is essential.

• Experience in coatings, Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection, or a similar technical sector is crucial.

• Familiarity with global product development, optimization, or launches is required.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.
