This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Develop and execute the global strategy for CNC post processors, including aspects of development, validation, and support.
• Ensure that technical execution adheres to established standards, architecture, and quality expectations.
• Create clear service-level agreements and track performance against agreed response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Define, implement, and continually enhance efficient and scalable service delivery processes across all regions and customer segments.
• Advocate for operational best practices, process standardization, tooling adoption, and foster a culture of continuous service improvement.
• Assess and analyze emerging technologies to evaluate their strategic alignment, scalability, and readiness for integration into the global product portfolio.
• Provide guidance to teams working on complex CNC platforms.
• Serve as the escalation point for technically intricate or high-impact issues.
• Design an effective global organization that aligns with long-term strategies and ensure that team skills meet current and future demands.
• Lead, inspire, and develop global technical teams while promoting a high-performance culture.
• Establish clear objectives and expectations, offer coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure the team achieves its maximum potential.
• Encourage motivation and collaboration while developing teams across different regions, cultures, and time zones.
• Support the ongoing improvement of workflows, documentation, and development practices.
• Promote consistency, efficiency, and reliability among global teams.
• Balance competing priorities to ensure the fulfillment of technical quality and delivery commitments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical professionals in engineering or software contexts.
• Proven hands-on experience with CNC machines, including programming for CNC.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted support tools, LMS platforms, CRM and service management systems, as well as CAD/CAM and manufacturing software ecosystems.
• Strong comprehension of CNC machining processes, G-code, post-processing, and machine behavior.
• Practical knowledge of machining technologies such as milling, turning, mill-turn, and Swiss machining.
• Capability to review and guide technical work without needing to engage in daily hands-on coding.
