This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Act as the primary liaison for Payroll customers to establish and ensure a smooth and accurate transition of their payroll needs to Remote’s Payroll products and services.
• Assess customers’ payroll requirements and offer suitable recommendations.
• Oversee and manage the onboarding of new customers from the onset of the relationship, including:
• Collecting all necessary payroll data for customers and employees for new payroll setups according to legal entities.
• Tailoring Remote’s Global Payroll system on an individual customer basis.
• Coordinating parallel payroll runs and reconciling wage-based taxes.
• Ensuring payroll and tax configurations comply with statutory regulations.
• Facilitating communication and coordination for payroll Go-Live.
• Transitioning accurate payroll information to our Remote Payroll Operations team.
• Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, supervisors, and vendors in a timely and clear manner.
• Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with customers, contributing to high customer retention rates.
• Offering support and training to new customers and employees regarding payroll processes and specific country payroll requirements.
• Ensuring customer-focused interactions with timely responses, accurate information, and effective follow-up on all customer and internal inquiries or issues.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all customer and employee data.
• Assisting in the development and upkeep of process documentation.
• Collaborating with internal teams to enhance our platform, performing UAT Testing before deployment.
• Several years of experience in Global Payroll Implementation with knowledge of statutory tax regulations and payroll processing.
• Several years of experience in the technical implementation of Global Payroll setups on local payroll software.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Global Payroll and HR processes.
• Work experience in payroll operations and understanding of statutory requirements.
• Experience in performing accounting reconciliations.
• Exceptional data management skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects involving various stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Technical aptitude with proficiency in computer literacy, data analysis, and critical thinking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment, with a strong desire to make a meaningful impact.
• Team player capable of working independently, taking ownership and responsibility for tasks and requests.
• Customer-centric mindset with the capacity to build strong client relationships.

• Proficient in using Google Sheets or Excel.
• Comfortable working within a MacBook Pro environment.
• Understanding of the need and concept of working largely asynchronously.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in remote work is not mandatory but considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Monday.com, and Salesforce is not required but seen as a plus.
• Knowledge of DACH payroll software is not required but is considered a plus.
