Global Outage Parts Planning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development and distribution of unit-specific recommended lists for the standard Unit Open/Inspect/Close operations.

• Implement standardized contingency strategies that align with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

• Collaborate with the CPM and OFS to comprehend event scope and associated changes.

• Identify spare parts required for non-standard outage scopes, including TIL, Aux, BOP, and Generator components.

• Assess recommended lists against on-site inventory and enhance suggestions by utilizing fleet parts availability and programs.

• Maintain systems and tools for documenting deliverables effectively.

• Cultivate relationships with CPM to pinpoint and address challenges within the outage planning process.

• Foster partnerships with Auxiliaries OEM and Sourcing teams.

• Leverage field experience to establish technology-standard lists in collaboration with the CMPD team.

• Propel process enhancements to refine NCP planning and monitor the accuracy of spare lists.

• Utilize experience and expertise to resolve issues efficiently.

• Assist the line manager in achieving team KPIs and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Extensive experience in Field Service Execution and Planning as a TFA/Outage Manager, or substantial experience in Gas Power Engineering.

• Proficient in material management systems and tools, including Excel and PLM.

• Strong analytical skills and adeptness in problem-solving.

• Proactive and highly collaborative, with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment.

• Ability to inspire and uphold integrity, employee engagement, safety, and teamwork.

• Change-agent mindset characterized by energy, enthusiasm, and passion.
