Global Operations Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee escalated orders, high-risk verifications, and intricate exception cases.

• Act as a primary contact for sensitive communications with clients and internally.

• Balance service level agreement expectations with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance standards.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of verification processes, FCRA regulations, and quality control measures.

• Conduct focused quality reviews and assist in planning for remediation.

• Identify recurring issues, carry out root cause analyses, and escalate findings to Compliance and Operations leadership.

• Strengthen accountability and consistency among distributed and international operational teams.

• Offer guidance and informal coaching to frontline Operations Specialists.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Implementations, and Customer Support to address operational gaps.

• Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures to boost clarity and operational consistency.

• Analyze operational data to suggest workflow improvements and strategies for error reduction.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in background screening or compliance-focused operations; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong analytical abilities and sound professional judgment in handling complex or escalated situations.

• Practical knowledge of FCRA, verification processes, quality controls, and regulated workflows.

• Experience managing escalations and sensitive communications with clients.

• Proven capability to identify trends, navigate ambiguity, perform root cause analysis, and escalate risks appropriately.

• PBSA Certification is preferred.

• A dedicated home office space that is free from noise and distractions, equipped with a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Preferred connections include cable or fiber internet (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload), as satellite connections may not support the technologies required for daily tasks.
