This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Develop a strategic and lasting partnership between SGS and designated global clients, representing SGS at all levels, particularly focusing on Director and VP levels.
• Identify and cultivate new revenue opportunities within our client base by collaborating closely with the SGS network and the global Technical Competence Team.
• Oversee the successful initiation and execution of a variety of client-specific projects of varying complexities on a global scale, ensuring that contractual obligations and deliverables are fulfilled, and that client expectations are surpassed whenever feasible.
• Accountable for fostering long-term sustainable business collaborations between SGS and our key international clients.
• Represent the SGS network by reporting directly to the senior management teams of our clients in a professional manner concerning SGS' performance.
• Responsible for the strategic growth and development of significant international clients.
• Develop and ensure the successful execution of a client-specific Global Key Account Development Plan that aligns with the primary drivers and needs of the client in relation to SGS.
• Serve as the main liaison between SGS and the client's management team at the Director or VP level, leading and ensuring effective management of existing programs in accordance with client KPIs.
• Supervise the implementation and enhancement of global cooperative agreements within the SGS network, ensuring that all program components are properly executed and continuously monitored.
• Collaborate effectively with global technical teams prior to the launch of new projects to ensure optimal execution structures and technical support are agreed upon and implemented.
• Manage the investigation and resolution of any client concerns, complaints, or claims by following the appropriate escalation procedures as required.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with poor performance and/or client expectations through a proactive and constructive approach.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial roles within service-oriented and solutions-based environments.
• Demonstrated success as a hunter in sales, with a proven track record in new business acquisition, establishing long-term client relationships, and fostering upsell/cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.
• Capacity to contribute to and lead a global business development strategy, pinpointing growth opportunities and developing scalable sales methodologies across different regions.
• Experience in selling multi-service or solution-oriented offerings, ideally catering to diverse customer needs.
• An established professional network within retailers and/or consumer brands in Europe, with the ability to leverage connections to unlock opportunities and expedite pipeline development while establishing long-term global partnerships is preferred.
• Mandatory experience in negotiating Global Master Agreements/Global Frame Agreements with Global Partners.
• Background in selling to multinational or cross-border environments, working with international stakeholders, and coordinating internally across regions or service lines.
• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven environments, adept at managing multiple opportunities and priorities concurrently.
• Experience in the TIC sector is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is highly advantageous.
