This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop comprehensive mid-range account strategies in alignment with customer needs.
• Assemble and oversee account and project teams, including the operational management of specialists involved in customer projects.
• Plan activities essential for achieving sales targets.
• Identify and secure projects by leveraging exceptional automation expertise.
• Foster international cooperation and collaboration.
• Attain development milestones with assigned customers.
• Maintain satisfactory customer satisfaction levels with assigned clients.
• Conduct effective sales meetings with customers to uncover needs and secure acceptance of Festo’s products and solutions.
• Comprehend and proactively convey the organizational structure of the customer.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and understand the decision-making processes and requirements of customers.
• Assist in defining and marketing customer solutions as input for the product development process.
• Initiate and guide process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of key account management, such as through capacity planning in SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business studies; a background in electrical engineering is advantageous.
• Proficient in English language skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and SAP.
• At least 5 years of relevant external experience.
• Specialized experience in managing sales processes and key account management.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
• Background in industrial B2B sales is preferred.
