
Global HR Lead – People Ops, Risk Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a global delivery team responsible for managing employee and payroll data, employment taxes, equity compensation, and operational risk processes.
• Develop and govern comprehensive global business continuity plans for people operations workstreams.
• Design, implement, monitor, govern, and ensure compliance with essential internal controls and business plans within the HR People Ops function.
• Manage, execute, track, report, and govern audits across all HR shared service areas.
• Collaborate with global controllership and tax teams to self-assess, devise, and implement effective local HR Services operational risk control frameworks.
• Assist Finance in creating procedures and ensuring timely and accurate account reconciliations.
• Lead and implement regulatory projects while ensuring compliance with regulatory system requirements.
• Conduct annual SOX testing and act as the primary Payroll SOX liaison for external auditors.
• Mentor regional and local global teams.
• 10+ years of experience in Human Resources and HR Operations Service Delivery.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in payroll governance and/or controllership, or related operational risk management within a multinational organization.
• Significant prior professional experience with a proven track record in understanding payroll processes, regulatory compliance, and/or an operations/service-oriented environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with global mobility programs, time and attendance systems, and Workday, ideally in manufacturing settings.
• Proficient in project management and the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
