Global Health Partnerships and Programs Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the HLI Team Leader in promoting the strategic growth and sustainability of the Health and Language Initiative.

• Employ innovation and creativity to coordinate and support health-related pilot projects at global, area, and country levels.

• Build and maintain relationships with global health organizations, foundations, governmental bodies, academic institutions, and corporate partners.

• Identify, pursue, and help secure various funding opportunities that ensure long-term program sustainability.

• Support donor engagement, grant development, partnership cultivation, and stewardship efforts.

• Spot opportunities to broaden HLI programming and enhance SIL's influence within the global health arena.

• Foster collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to propel strategic initiatives and partnerships.

• Create and maintain program resources, partnership materials, presentations, and other collateral that facilitate communications, fundraising, and program development.

• Monitor partnerships, funding, and project outcomes while providing recommendations for improvements to leadership.

• Contribute to the long-term vision and evolution of the Health and Language Initiative, preparing for increased leadership responsibilities as the initiative expands.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in global health, public health, international development, nonprofit management, community development, or a related discipline.

• Experience working in cross-cultural settings and engaging with diverse communities and stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in partnership development, fundraising, donor relations, grant management, or resource mobilization.

• Preferred experience in supporting or managing international development or global health programs.

• Previous experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred.

• Experience in leading teams, coordinating volunteers, or developing others is considered a plus.
