This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and implement JPE’s global commercial strategy for parts distribution and whole-asset sales, in alignment with JPE and JSSI’s broader growth goals.
• Establish, monitor, and achieve annual and quarterly revenue objectives across all product categories and regions.
• Create and sustain a comprehensive multi-year sales pipeline; enhance pipeline integrity, forecasting precision, and CRM adherence throughout the team.
• Discover and cultivate new revenue streams, including fleet programs, MRO partnerships, and operator agreements.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of 9 Sales Directors, each managing regional and product-line portfolios.
• Conduct regular reviews of the pipeline, territory planning meetings, and individual performance evaluations.
• Recruit and onboard exceptional commercial talent to address capability gaps and foster growth.
• Supervise the origination, structuring, and finalization of whole aircraft and engine transactions, including purchases, sales, exchanges, and leases.
• Maintain essential relationships with asset holders, lessors, MROs, and brokers across the global marketplace.
• Track aircraft and engine valuations, market trends, and fleet retirements to determine optimal acquisition and divestiture timing.
• Propel parts revenue across airframe and engine sectors through direct sales to operators, dealer networks, and MRO partnerships.
• Work in tandem with inventory, logistics, and technical operations to ensure competitive availability, pricing, and turnaround time performance.
• Represent JPE at significant industry events and during direct customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality to synchronize commercial commitments with delivery capabilities.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to executive leadership to shape product, pricing, and M&A strategies.
• Assist with due diligence and integration efforts related to acquisitions or the development of new capabilities.
• Over 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in business aviation, showcasing success in parts distribution and/or asset transactions.
• Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing, geographically diverse sales teams.
• In-depth understanding of the business jet market, including OEM platforms, engine types, fleet demographics, and the competitive landscape.
• Experience with complex, multi-party commercial transactions, such as aircraft/engine exchanges, structured deals, and trust arrangements.
• Strong financial acumen; capacity to model deal economics, assess margin impacts, and drive profitable revenue growth.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and commercial analytics tools.
• Experience managing sales across multiple product lines concurrently (parts and whole assets).
• Established senior-level relationships with flight departments, Part 135/145 operators, and MROs in key markets (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
• Familiarity with MRO, leasing, or engine program environments.
• International commercial experience; multilingual ability is advantageous (Spanish/Portuguese preferred for the Latin American market).
