This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Take charge of the complete strategy, pipeline, and revenue narrative for your sector.
• Formulate, establish, and execute the growth strategy for the vertical.
• Provide leadership and foster organizational alignment within a globally integrated cross-matrix vertical team.
• Define, develop, and communicate the strategy and go-to-market (GTM) direction for the AI vertical.
• Oversee the vertical P&L narrative, pipeline, and performance metrics against established vertical targets.
• Build a robust vertical pipeline through solution-driven initiatives, including programs and sales resources.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customers.
• Facilitate high-level engagements with customers and partners.
• Influence investment choices and resource distribution throughout a matrixed organization.
• Convert AI market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics into practical GTM strategies.
• Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for the vertical and manage pipeline health assessments across the global team.
• Mentor and guide both the matrixed vertical team and 'Peaked' GEO sellers assigned to your sector.
• Collaborate with Alliance and Channel teams to enhance the co-selling value of ISVs and partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in vertical business.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise technology sales or go-to-market strategies.
• More than 5 years in senior positions within the Retail market.
• Proven experience within the Retail ecosystem.
• A strong history of meeting revenue targets and developing scalable vertical sales strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of the Retail industry's regulatory landscape, purchasing dynamics, and technological priorities.
• Executive presence, with the capability to operate and influence at the C-suite level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and align cross-functional, matrixed organizations without direct authority.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with uncertainty and drive alignment across global, matrixed teams including product, engineering, channel, delivery, and sales.
