This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• This position is part of the global Pharma Business Development leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the overall growth strategy, market expansion, and commercial excellence within the Pharma sector.
• Oversee the Key Account team to evaluate markets for target identification and assist in corporate development strategies.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders within Pharma to prioritize project requirements and deliver analytics projects according to the agreed timeline.
• Support global strategic and focus accounts by leading the strategic project management team.
• Responsibilities will include coordinating complex RFP/RFI responses, managing multisite projects, and overseeing account governance and business reviews.
• Attend client meetings in person to showcase our global capabilities.
• Participate in conferences and deliver presentations.
• Coordinate and assist in account development planning processes while engaging with the global network.
• Act as a super user for the deployment and adoption management of commercial systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ).
• Interface with corporate IT functions as necessary.
• Attend and support regional business development meetings and contribute to the formulation of global sales and marketing strategies.
• Aid in the commercial integration of acquisitions and assist in the implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
• Provide mentoring and management support for Business Development Managers in new markets.
• Significant experience in commercial operations support within Life Sciences services and solutions for global clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of drug commercialization and associated analytical/CMC requirements.
• Experience in a Contract Services Organization (CRO) is a plus.
• Extensive scientific expertise in Pharma/Biopharma testing.
• Proficient in CRM and other commercial systems.
• Strong team leader capable of navigating complex cultural organizations.
• Highly dedicated to meeting deadlines previously defined and agreed upon with customers.
• Skilled at establishing robust networking both internally and within the client’s organization to effectively drive and lead change.
• Possess analytical, decisive, adaptable, ethical, problem-solving, persuasive, and commercially-sensitive skills.
• Strongly customer-oriented with a profound commercial focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Highly developed presentation skills with the capacity to interact effectively with senior leadership.
• Fluency in English is essential.
