Global Head – Account and Liquidity Management

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and implement a comprehensive global strategy for acquiring and retaining liquidity that aligns with the company's growth goals and product development roadmap.

β€’ Establish and achieve quarterly and annual targets for revenue, volume, and spreads related to liquidity provider activities.

β€’ Build and manage a high-performing account management team across various regions; set KPIs, workflows, and foster a culture of accountability.

β€’ Oversee the complete lifecycle of relationships with liquidity providers β€” from prospecting and onboarding to continuous optimization and expansion.

β€’ Negotiate commercial agreements, fee structures, and service level agreements (SLAs) with Tier-1 and Tier-2 market makers, OTC desks, and algorithmic trading firms.

β€’ Track and evaluate liquidity quality metrics (such as spread, depth, and fill rates) and collaborate with providers to enhance execution performance continuously.

β€’ Collaborate closely with Trading, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, API integration, and adherence to regulations.

β€’ Represent the company at industry conferences, institutional roundtables, and partner events to enhance brand visibility and widen the partner network.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 10 years of experience in institutional sales, liquidity management, prime brokerage, or market-making, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

β€’ Proven track record in onboarding and managing relationships with institutional liquidity providers, market makers, or prime brokerage clients.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of order book dynamics, market microstructure, FIX/API connectivity, and exchange infrastructure.

β€’ Strong pre-existing network within institutional trading firms, market makers, OTC desks, and/or traditional finance counterparts.

β€’ Ability to negotiate complex commercial contracts and manage multi-stakeholder relationships at the C-suite level.

β€’ Outstanding analytical skills β€” adept at working with trading data, liquidity metrics, and P&L attribution.

β€’ Experience working across different jurisdictions (APAC, EMEA, Americas) with an understanding of regional regulatory frameworks.
