This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Act as the financial backbone of our Global Events division.
• Take the lead on the complete financial lifecycle for international events—from obtaining vendor quotes to processing final payments.
• Aggregate quotations effectively.
• Develop budgets, tracking, and reports while delivering real-time financial insights to the Events Team.
• Oversee the contract signing process.
• Manage invoicing and payment procedures.
• Execute multi-currency and multi-company reconciliations.
• Generate reports following the completion of events.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Over 5 years of experience in accounting, specifically within the Events, Travel, or Hospitality sectors.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
• Full professional proficiency or native fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong negotiation abilities for vendor quotes.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
