This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Create dashboards and visualizations that render complex grid data understandable and actionable.
• Convert customer business inquiries into analytical tasks and convey findings effectively.
• Provide ad hoc and custom analyses to reveal insights not currently accessible through the product.
• Ensure outputs meet quality standards to guarantee that analyses are accurate and reliable.
• Assist in end-to-end customer engagements in collaboration with Power Engineers.
• Collaborate with Customer Data Engineers to confirm that analytics data is accessible, properly mapped, and suitable for its intended use.
• Troubleshoot data and analysis issues, prioritize problems, communicate with customers, and drive solutions.
• Detect patterns across customer interactions to guide product development.
• Work with Product teams to transform custom analyses into repeatable platform functionalities.
• Contribute to the creation of documentation, playbooks, and tools that enhance analytics and delivery efficiency.
• Automate manual processes and enhance future analytics and delivery tasks.
• Over 2 years of professional experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, data engineering, technical consulting, or a related role that involves hands-on data work and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to analyze, validate, and manipulate complex or unstructured datasets.
• Experience in developing dashboards and data visualizations.
• Strong skills in Python for data analysis, transformation, and scripting purposes.
• Capability to clearly convey data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud data infrastructure and contemporary development practices, including Git, command-line environments, and collaborative codebases.
• Exposure to dbt or comparable ELT/ETL frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to resolving technical challenges.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a self-motivated attitude in a dynamic startup environment.
