Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create customer-oriented reports and dashboards utilizing regulatory intelligence data.

• Convert customer reporting needs into specific, well-defined queries using Sigma, Claude, and Redica MCP.

• Identify and extract core data related to inspections, observations, warning letters, and enforcement actions.

• Construct, tailor, and disseminate customer-facing workbooks, data elements, reports, and visualizations.

• Oversee the complete report lifecycle from initial intake and data identification to construction, QA, proofing, and delivery.

• Analyze and validate data outputs for precision prior to customer-facing distribution.

• Address customer-specific inquiries through structured reporting on regulatory intelligence data.

• Manage several simultaneous customer deliverables accurately and punctually.

• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requests, resolve data inquiries, and provide customer-ready work.

• Present insights through dashboards, executive reports, and data storytelling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data operations, or a similar role.

• Practical experience in creating reports, workbooks, data elements, or visualizations using a cloud BI or analytics tool such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI; Sigma experience is highly preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of SQL, including the capability to write, review, and troubleshoot queries against structured data.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools or natural language data interfaces to enhance data exploration, query development, or analysis.

• Proven experience producing accurate, polished work for internal stakeholders or external clients.

• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and adept at utilizing AI to enhance work processes.

• Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
