This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Embrace and advocate for Ecolab’s culture and values both internally and with customers.
• Actively promote Ecolab's value proposition through industry-leading programs, technology, information, and customer service.
• Achieve or surpass annual net new business sales targets.
• Spearhead customer negotiations and reviews, covering contractual terms, KPIs, pricing, product mix management, and contract renewals.
• Develop and utilize strong business relationships to create value for oneself, colleagues, and customers.
• Fulfill key business planning and reporting obligations.
• Keep abreast of industry changes and trends.
• Share effective sales practices and techniques with team members across corporate accounts, field sales, and distribution teams.
• Manage travel expenses within budgetary constraints.
• Serve as an ambassador for the Ecolab brand.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a B2B sales environment in a comparable direct sales and service management position.
• University degree in a business-related field.
• Exceptional end-to-end sales skills with a demonstrated history of success in sales management.
• Strong customer service abilities and integrity, with a remarkable capacity to build relationships with senior decision-makers in chain accounts.
• Proven leadership skills, along with excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset.
• Demonstrated initiative to enhance, innovate, and create value.
• Solid understanding of commercial business, including financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with an understanding of customer needs.
• Effective organization and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in technology and analytical tools (Customer Relationship Management software, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking work environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally.
• Proficiency in English and German.
