Global Compliance Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist Passport’s Global Compliance services for eCommerce merchants looking to expand into new markets.

• Conduct HTS Classification for product catalogs, Shopify, and internal inquiries.

• Address Customs holds and compliance issues.

• Keep duty rates up to date.

• Oversee product rules, including customs descriptions, HS codes, and COO.

• Analyze country-specific regulations and restrictions.

• Manage customs manifests for export activities.

• Develop expertise in the Passport product while staying informed about industry trends and news.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with HTS classification.

• At least 1 year of experience in International Logistics.

• Capability to manage Data Entry Projects effectively.

• Knowledge of Duty/Taxes, COO, and Free Trade Agreements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Eagerness to tackle tasks of any size.

• A self-driven team player who can collaborate across various functions and manage multiple tasks.

• Resourceful in seeking information or assistance when needed.

• Strong creative problem-solving skills suitable for a dynamic environment.

• Ability to comprehend and convey complex issues clearly and succinctly to diverse internal and external stakeholders (Executives, Marketers, Engineers, Sales Teams, ICs).

• Experience as an Entry Writer.

• Familiarity with Data Entry tasks.
