
Global Compensation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
β’ Design, govern, and sustain SGS's worldwide job architecture and job grading frameworks.
β’ Spearhead market benchmarking and salary range development; evaluate internal compensation practices and labor market trends to guide merit budgets and pay decisions.
β’ Assist in the design of short- and long-term incentive plans (both cash and equity).
β’ Analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and evaluate the business implications of reward decisions.
β’ Offer expert advice to HR and senior leadership within a global, multicultural context.
β’ Work closely with a small, high-performing team and mentor colleagues on reward-related topics.
β’ Manage partnerships with external vendors and service providers.
β’ Strong experience in compensation management within a multinational or global setting.
β’ Excellent proficiency in Excel and advanced spreadsheet capabilities (actuarial/statistical analysis is a significant advantage).
β’ Robust understanding of job architecture, job leveling, and salary benchmarking.
β’ Capability to analyze financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
β’ Experience in designing incentive plans and communicating rewards effectively.
β’ Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
β’ Proficient in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
β’ Familiarity with Swiss labor law and the Swiss Code of Obligations (preferred).
β’ Enthusiasm for technology and recent advancements, including AI.
β’ Flexible, hybrid work arrangements available throughout Europe.
