This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +13 more states.
• Oversee the Accounts Receivable inbox, address daily inquiries, and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Generate, verify, and distribute customer invoices using NetSuite and vendor platforms like Ariba, Coupa, and Tipalti.
• Confirm invoices against order forms and purchase orders prior to billing.
• Administer and manage accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Collect outstanding receivable amounts in accordance with company policies.
• Follow up on overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and letters.
• Address customer inquiries related to credit card products, including updates to Stripe addresses, invoice reissues, and dispute resolution.
• Complete new vendor onboarding documentation and respond to Accounts Receivable inquiries from the Sales team.
• Assist Sales in acquiring customer purchase orders and monitor pending POs.
• Apply customer payments daily in NetSuite and perform bank reconciliations.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives and conduct ad hoc analyses.
• Support revenue-related audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and addressing requests from external auditors.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• At least three years of experience in accounts receivable.
• Proven experience in resolving customer inquiries or billing disputes directly.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce in a SaaS environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Tesorio is advantageous.
• Experience with Stripe and/or cloud marketplace providers like GCP, AWS, and Azure is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of accounting close processes is essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented when reconciling order forms, purchase orders, and sales orders prior to invoicing.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Experience collaborating with international/remote team members across various time zones is a plus.
• Must be available to start on short notice and commit to the full duration of the temporary assignment.
