Credit & Collections Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct collection calls on all overdue accounts

• Decrease delinquency rates for assigned accounts

• Reach out to customers concerning their payment status

• Handle incoming customer inquiries

• Resolve billing disputes with customers and profit centers

• Collaborate with general contractors to arrange joint checks for specific projects

• Distribute Certificates of Insurance and Tax Certificates to the relevant departments

• Update and modify customer maintenance records

• Understanding of construction lien regulations

• Professional telephone etiquette

• Dedication to outstanding customer service

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• In-depth knowledge of fair debt and collection practices

• Solid understanding of state commercial regulations

• Familiarity with legal lending practices

• Some experience with computerized accounting systems

• Capability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required by the job
