Global Business Development Director – Consumer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Lead the global business development initiatives for CL-Consumer.

• Acquire new clients and expand the current portfolio.

• Proactively engage with the market to identify new business opportunities by establishing and nurturing executive-level relationships with key global clients in the consumer sector.

• Oversee and coordinate projects during the tendering and implementation phases at both corporate and regional levels.

• Assist Consumer GADs with significant and targeted CL opportunities.

• Convert the global Consumer strategy into targeted Business Development efforts.

• Propel the growth of focused subverticals, specifically by creating and executing a business plan aimed at enhancing the FASHION subvertical.

• Identify essential and lacking commercial products/services necessary for growth.

• Manage the pipeline based on size, conversion rates, regions, etc.

• Collaborate with regional CCOs and Consumer leads to foster Consumer growth.

• Lead and manage the CL-Consumer BD team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics.

• Over 10 years of experience in the Consumer sector and/or logistics business (CL, SCM).

• At least 5 years in a prominent customer-facing role with a major Consumer client.

• Experience in the Fashion Industry is preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of warehousing processes and emerging trends.

• Proven track record in large-scale BD projects with evidence of achieving new business wins.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to engage with all organizational levels across various cultures and countries.

• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.

• Capability to set personal agendas and work independently.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
