This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Oversee the global brand communications strategy, focusing on launch readiness, data milestone planning, and lifecycle communications.
• Ensure a consistent brand narrative across all channels and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Disease State Awareness lead on product media strategy, including selecting channels, prioritizing efforts, and managing media investments (paid, earned, and owned).
• Establish and nurture relationships with key international and specialty media outlets.
• Provide guidance to affiliates for local media engagement, ensuring adherence to consistency, compliance, and quality standards.
• Lead the brand congress communications plan (before, during, and after congress events).
• Supervise the creation of global congress toolkits and guarantee effective local amplification across various markets.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment (Medical, IR, Compliance) for data communication and oversee media engagement.
• Develop and implement global communication toolkits, digital assets, and campaign playbooks for affiliate utilization.
• Ensure the production of high-quality communication materials, including narratives, Q&As, digital content, and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with country teams to enhance capabilities and ensure high-quality execution.
• Manage agency relationships, ensuring strategic alignment, quality delivery, and efficient execution.
• Work with Medical and Brand teams to uphold scientific integrity and deliver a strong educational impact.
• Partner with Community Engagement to amplify the patient voice and strengthen external partnerships.
• Align with Corporate/IR Communications to guarantee consistency and clarity in external messaging.
• Lead global insight gathering (media landscape, social listening, advisory boards) to inform strategies.
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess communication effectiveness and optimize impact.
• Continuously enhance communication strategies based on data, insights, and changing market conditions.
• Promote ongoing improvements in communication capabilities across international markets.
• Introduce and expand best practices in data-driven communications and advocate for the adoption of new tools, including AI, to boost efficiency, personalization, and impact.
• Manage the budget for communication programs, forecasting, tracking ROI, and reallocating resources for maximum impact while adhering to SOPs, industry codes, and corporate values.
• Proven experience in brand communications/PR within the healthcare sector, particularly in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading intricate, multi-market communication strategies at either a regional or global level.
• Strong strategic mindset capable of translating business priorities into impactful communications and reputation initiatives.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, lead without formal authority, and manage complexities effectively.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, able to cultivate trusted partnerships across various functions (Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Policy, Patient Advocacy) and country affiliates.
• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities across functions, cultures, and seniority levels; fluency in English is required.
• Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• High energy, creativity, agility, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability.
• Proficient with approval systems and compliant content workflows (e.g., Veeva).
• Skilled in digital and modern communication tools; familiarity with AI-enabled content development within company policies is an advantage.
