Global Benefits Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive global benefits strategy, primarily focusing on U.S. health and welfare programs.

• Ensure that benefits programs are in line with cost objectives, market positioning, and the overall Total Rewards strategy.

• Take ownership of U.S. health and welfare offerings, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, and disability coverage.

• Drive initiatives related to plan design, vendor strategy, and cost management.

• Lead renewal processes, RFPs, and vendor management to enhance performance and cost effectiveness.

• Ensure adherence to U.S. regulatory standards (ACA, ERISA, etc.).

• Supervise pensions, medical (where relevant), and insured benefits in the UK and Ireland.

• Collaborate with Finance to oversee budgets, forecasts, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Develop and verify cost models, identify savings opportunities, and assess ROI.

• Oversee the implementation of plan modifications, vendor transitions, and the introduction of new programs.

• Identify and manage financial, operational, and compliance risks associated with benefits programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in benefits and total rewards, with extensive expertise in U.S. health and welfare.

• Experience in a large professional services organization.

• Familiarity with UK and Ireland benefits (pensions, medical, regulatory requirements) and a willingness to enhance knowledge in these areas.

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, global programs and vendor partnerships.

• Strong financial skills including cost modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, preferably within private equity.
