This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts by creating a strategic sales approach within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop tailored, account-specific marketing initiatives aimed at boosting revenue.
• Engage closely with our Global System Integrators (GSI) and System Integrators (SI) partner networks.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by comprehensively understanding their current and future IT strategies to promote the Snowflake solution in the market.
• Qualify prospects and cultivate new sales opportunities as well as sustainable revenue sources.
• Organize and lead initial discussions and positioning meetings with Executives and CxOs.
• Manage the sales process and ensure successful opportunity closure.
• Provide ongoing account management to maintain customer satisfaction and foster additional revenue avenues.
• Preferred 10-15+ years of experience in field sales, particularly in data or cloud technology sectors.
• Significant experience working with strategic and complex clients, collaborating with cross-functional internal account teams.
• Proven experience leading sales account teams that engage with customers at a regional level.
• Track record of closing seven-figure, multi-year contracts and developing strategic account plans.
• Expertise in identifying customer needs, delivering suitable solutions, and conveying business value/ROI.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in transformational and consultative selling, strategic planning, and conducting sophisticated negotiations.
• Experience in managing executive-level relationships and understanding the business motivations of C-suite stakeholders.
• Collaboration with essential internal departments such as partner sales, marketing, value engineering, and legal.
• Extensive experience working with large manufacturing enterprises.
• Capability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
