
Global Account Manager, Enterprise Solutions – Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Cultivate and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the designated vertical segment and assigned accounts, including a thorough understanding of Facilities, Design, Construction, Operations, and Lifecycle.
• Identify, secure, and expand Enterprise accounts and opportunities primarily through new construction and owner-direct portfolio-buy initiatives.
• Place strong emphasis on generating new opportunities and driving business development.
• Pursue qualified leads at the Enterprise level and enhance existing Business Unit (BU) touchpoints.
• Coordinate and collaborate with all Carrier personnel, including Global and Regional BU Sellers and Leadership, throughout the sales and account management process.
• Partner closely with BU sellers to pinpoint cross-BU expansion opportunities.
• Create and maintain formalized Enterprise account plans on both global and regional scales.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global account strategy based on customer and vertical insights.
• Persuade customers to invest in Carrier products and solutions.
• Collaborate with other Carrier resources to create customized solutions that address specific customer requirements.
• Comprehend and influence the customer’s investment roadmap related to Carrier products and solutions to facilitate expansion.
• Strengthen relationships within assigned accounts to engage new decision-makers and uncover additional opportunities.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Data Center Mechanical/HVAC, Design, Construction, and/or Owner Segment.
• Willingness to travel 25%-50%, including internationally for clients and conferences.
• Strong collaboration, transparency, and leadership capabilities within a team setting.
• Experience in developing National, Strategic, or Enterprise Accounts in Facilities/HVAC, Mechanical Design, or Construction.
• Proven track record in developing, navigating, and managing Data Center owner accounts is highly preferred, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations.
• Mechanical/HVAC/Controls experience is preferred, though experience in other facility aspects or building solutions is acceptable.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Capability to communicate with high-level customer stakeholders (e.g., C-Suite).
• Proficiency in engaging with senior executives to generate demand for new solutions.
• Proven experience in developing and executing consultative sales strategies that foster value growth for customers.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored for diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong negotiation skills with an understanding of contractual and legal language.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, & Copilot).
• Exceptional project management skills and execution capabilities.
• Ability to swiftly adapt and modify approaches and solutions to meet customer needs.
